ANSUL® FIRE SCHOOL - Training Program
In a fire emergency, every second counts. Knowing how to tackle a fire safely can save lives. The world-renowned ANSUL® Fire School training program is the place for you to learn how to suppress a fire safely, whether you are a fire safety professional, a first responder, or an individual wanting to gain life-saving knowledge and experience.
Skilled and professionally trained instructors with over 25 years of experience will teach you the science, technology, and theory of fire control. And, most importantly, how to safely take on a range of fires using hand portable and wheeled fire extinguishers. Our experts are all from the world’s leading brand in fire protection, so you know you’re in safe hands.
3 Days of Instruction
Students will gain hands-on practical experience combined with classroom education over three days. Covering key topics including fire ratings, selection criteria and field-recharges, students will use a variety of hand portable and wheeled fire extinguishers throughout the course, including:
• Cartridge-operated extinguishers
• Stored pressure fire extinguishers
• Wheeled fire extinguishers
• Hose line apparatus
• Various extinguishing agents, including dry chemicals, carbon dioxide, and others
Combat 25 Live Fires
Expand your knowledge and experience by tackling a range of fires, including:
• Filling operations/stations
• Flammable liquid storage lockers
• Front end loader
• Fuel tankers
• Grated trenches
• Pipe failure
• Storage drums
• Solvent cleaning operations and many more
Courses from May to November 2026
Located in Marinette, Wisconsin, USA, with 27 acres of dedicated fire grounds complete with a variety of real-life industrial props. The program runs from May to November 2026.
